This very illusive, slightly crisp, yet dry and spicy, medium bodied wine, leaves a waft of floral aromas and a hint of melon with each taste. Long, cool fermentation in an all stainless steel cocoon helps to capture the classic essences of this Rhone varietal. Viognier (pronounced vee-oh-nay) is excellent with Chinese or Thai food, but also loves being paired with most seafoods, (no heavy cream or butter sauces, please) or Lenna’s Chicken Salad with lots of fruit and almonds!
